Physician Financial Independence Survey Results

Physician Financial Independence Survey Results

Plans once you reach FI
Specialty
Peak Income
Net Worth

The above results are from the survey I did of physicians from various physician Facebook Groups (including the Doctor Money Matters group)

Take home points.

  • Most of you want to cut back on work as you reach FI.
  • Income clusters around the 200-750K amount, with this audience skewed towards the higher end.
  • Roughly equal amounts of net worth among 0-500K, 500K-1M, 1M-2M, and 2-5M. More with negative net worth than those over $5M.
